The Tala Brick Trowel - 280mm is used to pick up mortar and for spreading the mortar on bricks with a technique called buttering. The shape of the blade allows for very precise control of mortar placement. This trowel has a rounded heel which shapes the blade so that the mortar is carried a little further forward on the blade. It features a drop forged tang, the piece of metal that continues into the handle, a steel blade and a soft-grip handle which makes it easy to handle and reduces fatigue.
