The Sanbra Fyffe Red Heating Expansion Vessel are designed to take the expansion of water in a central heating system, when the system is running at high temperatures. This is regulated by the pressurised air between the membrane and the tank's internal surface. When the pressure increases, the air cushion compresses letting the water fill in the tank. This expansion vessel has a 3/4" threaded connection.
