Print this article

Shower hoses are prone to wear and damage, and may need to be replaced on a regular basis. It is a surprisingly simple task to do, provided you have the correct equipment and a clear and concise guide to follow.

Step 1

Loosen Couplings

Loosen Couplings

Loosen the couplings that secure the shower head and hose together, then loosen the coupling to separate the hose from the water inlet point.

Step 2

Connect Replacement Hose

Connect Replacement Hose

Connect the new hose to both the inlet and the shower head, securing well. Turn on the shower to check the hose works properly. If the hose has been installed correctly, the water should flow through the hose and out of the shower head with no leaks.
